Notice the slight green on the Sloth’s coat? Sloths move so slowly that moss actually grows on them.

I came into Alternative Investments from an untraditional path—from real estate. With a 25 year career in residential and commercial real estate, I saw many needs for high quality assets like Delaware Statutory Trusts (DST) and Qualified Opportunity Zones (QOZ).
I witnessed first hand how hard finding replacement properties for real estate investors can be. It can be hard to find investing opportunities. It can be even harder to find them without management responsibilities—plus the added nail biting challenges of lining up closing dates, tax plans and new acquisitions.
Great Point Capital offers a regular array of DSTs and QOZs with flexible scheduling to match closing and 45 day identification deadlines. With Great Point, I could sort the current opportunities that matched tax planning considerations, such as matching an all cash investment or one with debt. I have the potential to help if you need a Plan B when something falls unexpectedly out of contract. Personally, I enjoy helping investors move from the burdens of tenants, toilets and trash into professionally managed investments. I’ve enjoyed working with widows selling family farm land to maximize sale profits while avoiding hundreds of thousands of dollars in capital tax gains. I’ve seen the advantages of high quality DSTs for family estate planning or special trusts that provide regular monthly income streams. Oil and Gas Investments are also useful for capital gains tax deferrals or passive losses.
